Two new crates in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds
Posted by cmsadminGG February 21, 2018

Two new crates will be coming to the popular battle royale shooter, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. Both of which will bring new and unique clothing to the game. The first of which is the Fever crate, a crate with clothing inspired by the fashion of the 70s and the 80s. It can be bought with Battle Points (BP) but will require Early Bird keys to unlock.

The second crate is the Militia crate which features Erangel resistance force outfits and Miramar frontiersmen outfits. Unlike the Fever crate, the Militia crate dropped randomly is free.

The new Militia crate will have the highest drop rate at 40% followed by the Desperado and Biker crates at 20% each. While the Survivor and Wanderer crates have a 10% drop rate chance.

The Fever crate has various items from the 15% chance to drop Zest Turtleneck to the rare Zest Checkered Skirt with its 0.16% chance drop rate. Its items and respective drop rates are as follows:

Zest Turtleneck (White): 15%

While the Militia crate brings items like the Gray Tank Top, Black Longsleeve Turtleneck, and the rarest Black Military Skirt. It seems to have some really rare items with drop chance ranging from 20% chance to 0.0064%. Because of this, it may be time to farm up for the crates and sell them in the Steam store. Here is the full list of items and their respective drop rates:

Whether the crate system is favorable or not, it does give players something to grind, collect, and possibly sell. Seeing a free crate and a crate to purchase will surely allow for more diverse outfits for players. Who doesn’t enjoy looking fashionable while running across the maps?

Expect the two new crates to be released by the next update, which may be released tomorrow (GMT+8).
