Game Over PH Shuts Down
Posted by Raphael Leynes January 15, 2019

Video game-themed Bar and Restaurant GameOver PH took to social media on Monday to announce that it is closing down its doors at the end of January after 3 years of operation.

The Game Over PH Facebook page had posted this bittersweet statement about the closure:

“It has been a good game. After serving you guys and making memories for 3 years with us, we would like to thank everyone and giving us opportunity that supported us throughout this adventure. It has been a pleasure and a true privilege having fun with you guys. “

The gaming-themed restaurant in Loyola Heights, Quezon City had been in operation since 2015 and was a beloved haven for nerds of all shapes and sizes. Game Over PH had a fine assortment of board games, gaming PCs and video game consoles both current-gen and retro available for their customer’s entertainment. They also served a variety of food, specialty cocktails and bar chow for patrons to partake while gaming with their buddies.

The cause of Game Over PH’s closure was not discussed neither were the specifics of their future plans but they want to end on a happy note ensuring its fans that this is just an ending but not the end of their journey.

“This is not goodbye from GameOver, we will still continue our journey and try again in the near future! “

Game Over PH also looking to close out their stint with a bang stating that they’ll be giving 20% discounts to customers starting from January 15th. They’re also asking for customers to share their special moments, pictures and memories of Game Over PH to their Facebook page to adorn its walls in its final days. So if you have ever had a party, gotten on a drunken gaming binge, or made some awesome new friends and memories at Game Over PH, head on over to their Facebook Page and share it.
