The Elder Scrolls VI & Starfield confirmed at E3 2018
Posted by Paco Santos on June 11, 2018

During the 2018 Bethesda E3 Showcase, Game Director Todd Howard went on stage to fully unveil Fallout 76 and announce The Elder Scrolls: Blades, but he had a lot more to share. Howard revealed what fans can expect to see in the years to come through a couple of huge teaser trailers.

Starfield is a “next generation” single-player sci-fi RPG currently in development by Bethesda Game Studios. Starfield is the first new franchise in over twenty-five years from the critically acclaimed developers of The Elder Scrolls and Fallout series. Rumors of the project started back in 2013 during the time the publisher trademarked Fallout 4. No release date details have been revealed during the show. With the phrase “next generation” being used, it could mean that the game will release after the life cycles of the PS4 and Xbox One.

The Elder Scrolls VI teaser was shown to close the show. The highly-anticipated next chapter in the iconic The Elder Scrolls series is currently only in the pre-production phase at Bethesda Game Studios. Pretty much nothing has been revealed about the game as we were literally only shown the title in the teaser video. Based on what we have so far, it looks like the next installment in The Elder Scrolls will be coming in the distant future.
