Samsung has just officially launched the Samsung Galaxy Watch in the Philippine market.
The elegant new entry to Samsung’s smartwatch line is a beautifully engineered marvel that looks to prioritize customizability, holistic health and fitness as well as serve as a trusty companion to take with you for the whole day.
The Galaxy Watch comes in 2 base styles: the 46mm Silver version and the 42mm Rose Gold. Users will be able to customize the look and style of the watch by choosing from an assortment of watch faces and straps. In addition to this customizability, the Galaxy Watch also seek to replicate the look and feel of a traditional watch by adding analog watch ticks and hourly chimes. It also features display that adds shadows to its various nooks and crannies to mimic the depth of traditional watches.
The Galaxy Watch also appears to have been designed with the wearers holistic health and fitness in mind. The watch has a new stress tracker function that keeps track of heart rate and pulse and offers a variety of breathing exercises to calm and focus the mind.
At night, the Galaxy Watch has a sleep tracker system that monitors the quality of your sleep by keep track of your REM cycles and breathing patterns. The Galaxy Watch also offers a set of 21 indoor exercises to make sure that you don’t just have a sound mind but also a healthy body to go along with it.
Under the hood, the Galaxy Watch seeks to keep you company all day and all night with its improved battery life of 80+ hours. The military-level durability of its Corning Gorila Glass DX+ and 5 ATM water resistance rating ensure that this watch will be able to keep up with you wherever your healthy lifestyle takes you.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch will be available on September 14 and will retail at PHP 16, 990 for the 46mm Silver and PHP 15, 990 of the 42mm Rose Gold in Samsung Authorized Stores nationwide.
