Final Fantasy 7 Remake Bags Three E3 Game Critics Awards
Posted by cmsadminGG June 30, 2019

The Final Fantasy 7 Remake was arguably the most anticipated game at this year’s E3 and the presentation during Square Enix’s press conference was definitely one of the most exciting, with the announcement of its release date and the unveiling of the full trailer. So it didn’t come as a surprise that the game has received three Game Critics Awards.

The remake of the classic Final Fantasy title bagged the Best of Show, Best Console Game, and Best RPG awards from the Game Critics Awards, an independent group of 64 of the world’s leading media and influencer outlets. The game also garnered over 80 global awards and nominations from other media outlets and organizations.

The Final Fantasy 7 Remake along with Square Enix’s other titles, which include Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers, Dragon Quest Builders 2, and Trials of Mana, collected more than 170 awards and nominations from global publications present at E3 2019.

The first episode of Final Fantasy 7 Remake is scheduled for release on March 3, 2019, for the PlayStation 4. You can check out the full trailer, which was released at E3 2019, below:
