New Rainbow Six Extraction Trailer Details 18 Operators, Gameplay, Progression, and more
Posted by Christer de Guia August 23, 2021

Ubisoft has recently revealed in their new trailer more details on their upcoming PVE co-op game, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction.

Rainbow REACTs Only

Rainbow Six Extraction will be featuring the REACT Team, which will be composed of one to three-player squad of operators from Rainbow Six Siege to confront aliens called Archæans.

REACT operators will be equipped with more than 65 weapons, 10 legacy tech from Rainbow Six Siege, and 15 exclusive REACT tech, which the team will use to adapt to the ominous alien threat.

For those who are new to the Rainbow Six Siege universe or maybe budding speedrunners, the game is fully playable solo.

Forget Theme Park; players will be deployed in 4 different regions throughout the United States, (New York, San Francisco to name a few), across 12 all-new maps. Each map is significantly larger than the maps in Rainbow Six Siege, with unique modifiers in every playthrough.

Although being a spin-off of Rainbow Six Siege, Extraction expands on the lore of the original game through its custom leveling system. 18 Rainbow Six operators in Extraction can advance their gear, weapons, and abilities in a new way. Leveling up will also permanently unlock new zones, Operators, customization items, tech, more difficulty levels, and more.

For the Fans

Players of both Rainbow Six Siege and Extraction will instantly unlock Extraction’s entire roster of 18 operators in Rainbow Six (if you haven’t yet) and will receive the elite United Front cosmetic bundles in both games.

Fans who pre-order Extraction will receive the Orbital Decay bundle with exclusive Epic loot including the Orion uniform and headgear for Finka and Lion, the universal Vaporized weapon skin, and the Crashlander charm. Fret not, Extraction will include live service support with regular content updates!

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction will now be released worldwide with full cross-play and cross-progression functionality in January 2022. It will be available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Ubisoft Store on Windows.
