2017 World Championship Group Stage Preview

At last, the awaited 2017 World Championship Group Stage will be underway! Before we get there let’s take a look at the rosters and the schedule for the 16 teams.

12 out of 16 teams will begin their 2017 World Championship journey at the Group Stage while the remaining four teams had to make it through the Play-In Stage. We’ve seen Cloud9, Fnatic, 1907 Fenerbahçe e-Spor, and Team WE play their hearts out to make it to the Group Stage but this where it gets even hotter as the 16 teams try to get the eight spots in the Knockout Stage.

Similar to the Play-In Stage, the Group Stage will be played in a best-of-one double round robin format. The top two will continue to the Knockout Stage Quarterfinals which will be one more step closer to raising the coveted Summoner’s Cup.

The groups have already been drawn with the third seeds from the Play-In Stage. That said, here are the different rosters of the 16 teams in their respective groups in the order that they were drawn.
